Silk

I originally bought the Silk because, honestly, I just wanted a dildo that would function as filler. I wanted something that would be a step up from my fingers, but still very simple. The Silk does its job and does it well.

What’s it look like? The Silk comes in three sizes and each size is a different color. My medium-sized Silk is all black, smooth silicone. It measures 5.5 inches long and 1.25 inches thick at the head, which is slightly larger than the rest of the shaft. It has a wide, flat base, making it easy to hold on to and perfect for harnesses.

You can also find the Silk in small (4.5” x .75”) and large (7.25” x 1.5”) sizes.

How does it work? I don’t know why I even have this section for dildos. It goes in your holes.

Yes, but how does it feel? I’ve only used it for vaginal play, and so far it’s absolutely perfect. It goes in so smoothly and easily. There’s a slight bend in it that, combined with the thick head, give me a little hint of g-spot stimulation. Your mileage will vary there, but judging by customer reviews on Babeland’s website, it’s not altogether uncommon.

The medium has been a great starting point for me. The widest point is just slightly larger than the head of the Butterfly Kiss. It’s a step up in size from what I’m used to, and I love every millimeter of it. It’s a perfect fit, but I plan on ordering the next size up for funsies.

This toy can also be used anally (and sterilized! yay silicone!), but I haven’t tried that out. I’m definitely eying the small size to expand my horizons, if you catch my drift and I think you do.

What’s the downside? I love silicone because it’s firm, but just soft and bendy enough. What I hate about silicone is that it tends to be a magnet for lint and hair. But this is such a small and easily solved problem that it’s barely worth mentioning.

Is it worth it? The three sizes cost $26, $36, and $46. I think $36 was a great price to pay for something that I use so often.

The Silk has become one of those toys that I reach for nearly every time I masturbate. It’s such a simple, simple toy, but it adds so much pleasure. If you’re looking for good beginner’s dildo, look no further.

Love Bunny update

After a long and arduous search that I later found out didn’t have to be long or arduous at all, I found the right batteries for my broken Love Bunny. The battery change did nothing. So today, I called up Babeland to ask for a replacement. They were very accommodating and the whole thing went quickly. Instead of me having to send back my Bunny and wait for a new one, they’re going to just send me a new bullet. Hooray!

I will have you, my precious.

Love Bunnies

The Love Bunny is so much cuter than I anticipated. It’s so cute that I can’t even be mad that I’m calling a sex toy cute.

Updates soon

My Love Bunny and Silk dildo have arrived! There should be a post up by Thursday morning. Hold me to it.

As of right now, I’m out of toys to review. My Love Bunny should be here in about a week. I also plan to buy a no-frills dildo, but I’m not sure which one I want to try first. I’m torn between the Icicles Swirl and one of the Silk line. Do I want cold, heavy, textured glass or smooth, flexible, slippery silicone? I think I’d like to start with the Silk, but Babeland is currently out of the size that I want. Hopefully it won’t be too long a wait before I get a new toy.

Je Joue SaSi

Would it be too corny if I said the SaSi is teaching me to appreciate the virtues of patience?
